Design
A fan case is made of steel and painted with a long-lasting powder-coated paints.
Motor
Two-pole and four-pole single-phase induction motors with an external rotor and an impeller made of galvanized steel with blades curved frontwards are used. Motors have in-built thermal protection with automatic re-start. The use of rolling-contact bearings in motors ensures extended service life. To achieve precise specifications, ensure low noise level and safe fan operation each turbine is exposed to dynamic balancing, when being assembled. Fan motor is protected as per the IP54 protection standard.
Speed control
The control can be either smooth or gradual and is conducted by a Triac or transformer switch. Several fans may be connected to one controller, provided that overall capacity and operating current do not exceed nominal parameters of a switch.
Installation
A fan may be installed in ventilation chambers of conditioning units or as a standalone equipment. In the latter case a fan may be connected to air ducts by both two pipe connectors (an exhaust outlet or an intake pipe), or just by an exhaust outlet. An exhaust outlet and an intake pipe have rectangular and circular sections respectively. Power is supplied by external terminals.
